Abasyn Entry Test 2026-27

Abasyn University uses its own aptitude test for undergraduate admission but accepts NTS, TOEFL or IELTS scores as substitutes, which makes it more flexible than most KP universities. Which Test Is Required

• BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, BS Psychology, BS English, BS Mathematics and other BS programs: Abasyn entry test, or an acceptable NTS (NAT) score, or TOEFL/IELTS.
• BE Civil and Electrical Engineering: PEC-regulated admission — in KP this is normally linked to the ETEA engineering test; confirm the current requirement with the admissions office.
• Pharm-D, DPT, BS Nursing and allied health: council eligibility plus the university test; nursing may have additional screening.

Eligibility

• Intermediate or equivalent in the relevant group; pre-engineering for BE programs, pre-medical for pharmacy, nursing and allied health.
• Minimum percentage not published on the public pages — HEC, PEC, Pharmacy Council and Allied Health Professionals Council minimums apply; check the official website.
• IBCC equivalence for A-Level and foreign certificates.

Registration and Fee

1. Buy the application packet for PKR 1,000 (cash at the office, or bank draft/pay order in the university’s name by post) or apply online via abasyn.edu.pk.
2. Submit the form with attested documents before the announced deadline.
3. Collect the test slip; stationery is provided on test day.

Schedule

Test dates are announced with each admission notice in national newspapers and on social media. For Fall 2026 the application deadline was 16 October 2026, with the test and merit list expected in the following weeks; Spring 2027 admissions normally open in December–January. Check the official website for confirmed dates.

Merit Formula

No merit formula is published. Selection combines intermediate marks with the entry test (or substitute score) and, for regulated programs, the relevant council rules.

Preparation Tips

• Practise NTS NAT-style English, quantitative and analytical reasoning questions — they mirror the three sections of the Abasyn test.
• If you already have a valid NAT score, submit it and skip the test.
• Engineering applicants should prepare for ETEA alongside, since PEC admission in KP depends on it.
• Revise intermediate Mathematics basics: algebra, ratios, percentages and simple geometry.
• Time yourself on logic puzzles and series questions, the section most candidates underprepare.
