SUIT Entry Test 2026-27

Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology does not run a single university-wide entry test. Admission depends on the program: most degrees are awarded on intermediate marks and an interview, while engineering and health programs follow the tests and rules of their regulatory bodies. Which Test Is Required

• BBA, BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Cyber Security, BS English, Education, Islamic Studies, Urdu, design and most other BS/AD programs: open merit on intermediate marks plus departmental interview; no external test is mentioned on the official website.
• BSc Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering: PEC-regulated admission — in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this is normally tied to the ETEA engineering entry test; confirm the current requirement with the admissions office.
• BS Nursing, Pharm-D, DPT and allied health: council eligibility rules apply (Pakistan Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council, Allied Health Professionals Council); any aptitude test is set by the faculty.
• LLB: HEC’s LAT (Law Admission Test) is required for five-year LLB entry nationwide — confirm with the law department.

Eligibility

• Intermediate or equivalent in the relevant group (pre-engineering for engineering, pre-medical for health programs, any group for most BS and AD programs).
• Minimum percentages are not listed on the public pages — check the official website; PEC and council minimums apply to engineering and health degrees.
• IBCC equivalence for A-Level and foreign qualifications.

Registration and Fee

1. Complete the online admission form at https://form.suit.edu.pk/ or collect one from the Ring Road campus.
2. Attach attested documents and photographs; pay any form/processing fee at the office (amount not published — check the official website).
3. For engineering, register separately for the ETEA test on the ETEA portal and submit the result to SUIT.

Schedule

SUIT runs Fall (July–October) and Spring (December–February) admission windows. The Fall 2026 notice set a deadline extended to 14 October 2026, so interviews and merit lists are expected in late October with classes following; Spring 2027 admissions typically open in December. Merit Formula

No merit formula is published. Open-merit programs are ranked on intermediate marks; engineering follows the PEC/ETEA-based merit used in KP, and the university reserves the right to interview.

Preparation Tips

• For engineering, prepare for ETEA: FSc Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English MCQs with negative marking.
• For open-merit programs, focus on presenting your intermediate marks and documents correctly and preparing for a short interview.
• LLB candidates should register for the HEC LAT well before the SUIT deadline.
• Allied health applicants should check council eligibility (pre-medical with biology) before paying any fee.
• Apply early in the window — later phases fill only remaining seats.
