Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology

Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT), Peshawar, is a private-sector university chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and operating since 2001. Its main campus is at Landi Akhun Ahmad on Ring Road, Peshawar, with an Islamabad campus and a distance-learning network. SUIT is known in KP for engineering and engineering technology programs, a large allied health and nursing faculty, and some of the lowest published tuition in the province for arts, education and language degrees.

Admission Process

SUIT admits twice a year, in Fall and Spring. For Fall 2026 the admission notice gave a deadline extended to mid-October 2026, so the cycle is in its final phase; the website front page was still showing the Spring 2026 banner at the time of writing. Steps:

Apply through the online form at form.suit.edu.pk or at the admissions office on the Ring Road campus.
Upload or attach attested copies of Matric, Intermediate (or equivalent with IBCC equivalence), CNIC and photographs.
Appear for any departmental test or interview if the faculty requires one (engineering admissions follow PEC rules).
Check the merit list on the official merit-list page.
Pay the admission fee and first-semester tuition to confirm enrolment.

Entry Test and Merit

SUIT does not advertise a university-wide entry test; most programs are filled on intermediate merit with a departmental interview. BSc Engineering admission in KP is normally linked to the ETEA engineering test under PEC rules, and nursing and allied health seats follow the relevant council requirements. Scholarships and Financial Aid

Workers Welfare Fund: 100% free education for industrial workers and their children.
Program-based tuition concessions: 25% in BSc Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, B.E. Tech, BBA and Business Analytics; 20% in Civil Engineering, DPT, computing degrees and design programs.
Armed Forces Shuhada 50%; Armed Forces personnel and government teachers (and children) 15%; female students 10%; kinship 20%; erstwhile FATA domicile 10%.
KP Police personnel and children 50% and Police Shuhada 100% in selected programs; SUIT graduates 50% off admission fee and 20% off tuition; LLB 10% for Bar Council members.
Total concession capped at 50% of tuition.
