Superior University Entry Test 2026-27

About This Entry Test

Superior University runs its own in-house entry test and interview for undergraduate admission rather than relying on NTS or HEC tests. This guide explains which programs need which test, what the university does and does not publish about the pattern, and how to prepare. For the full institutional overview read the Superior University profile.

Which Test Is Required

  • BS, BBA, BSc Engineering, Allied Health, Law, Art and Design, Pharm-D and all other undergraduate programs: the Superior University entry test plus an interview at the designated campus (official admission guidelines).
  • MBBS and BDS at Azra Naheed Medical and Dental Colleges: national MDCAT under PM&DC rules — the university test does not replace it.
  • No requirement to submit NTS NAT or HEC USAT scores is mentioned on the official pages.

Test Pattern

The university does not publish an official section-wise pattern for its undergraduate entry test. The table below records what is confirmed and what is not.

Eligibility

Applicants need a completed Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com) or an equivalent qualification with IBCC equivalence for A-Level and foreign students. Program-specific minimum percentages and pre-requisite subjects (for example pre-engineering for BSc Engineering, pre-medical for allied health) are not spelled out on the public guidelines page, so confirm with the admissions office before applying.

Registration and Fee

  1. Create an account on the online portal (apply online) or visit any Superior admissions office.
  2. Fill in the application form and select your degree and program.
  3. Download the fee voucher, pay the registration fee at a campus or designated bank, and submit the paid slip (portal upload, in person, or via the official WhatsApp number).
  4. Collect the test registration slip and the date and campus for your test and interview.

The registration/prospectus fee amount is not listed on the guidelines page. Source: https://www.superior.edu.pk/admissions/admission-guidelines/.

Schedule

Superior runs rolling test sessions during each admission window rather than a single national test date. Fall admissions typically open in May–June with tests through July–September; Spring admissions typically run December–January. The website currently shows Fall 2026 admissions open but lists no fixed test dates — check the official website for your campus schedule.

Merit Formula

No official weightage between academic marks, the entry test and the interview is published. Treat the test and interview as qualifying steps, and the intermediate percentage as the main driver of the scholarship tier (see the scholarships archive).

Preparation Tips

  • Revise your FSc/ICS core subjects (Mathematics, Physics, English, and Biology or Computer Science depending on program) since university-made tests draw on the intermediate syllabus.
  • Practise English comprehension and basic analytical reasoning, which appear in most private-university aptitude tests.
  • Prepare a short, honest answer to why you chose the program — the interview is part of the process.
  • Carry original documents and the paid registration slip on test day.
  • If you are a 90%+ scorer, bring position/merit certificates so the scholarship can be processed at the same time.
