Superior University Lahore

Superior University (officially The Superior University, Lahore) is a private-sector university in Lahore, Punjab. It grew out of Superior College and was granted degree-awarding status by the Government of Punjab in 2004 (HEC lists the establishment date as 16 June 2004). Today it is one of the largest private universities in Punjab, known for a very wide program menu across thirteen faculties, its own medical and dental colleges (Azra Naheed Medical College and Azra Naheed Dental College), and a network of campuses in Lahore and across the province.

Admission Process

Superior admits students in Fall (the main intake; the website currently shows Fall 2026 open) and also runs a Spring intake for many programs. The official admission guidelines describe two routes:

Apply online through the portal (create an account at erp.superior.edu.pk, fill the form) or visit an admissions office in person.
Pay the registration/prospectus fee through the fee voucher and submit the paid slip to the admissions office, upload it to the portal or send it on the official WhatsApp number.
Attend career counselling, then sit the university entry test and interview at the designated campus.
Successful candidates receive an offer letter and fee challan; pay at the campus or designated bank branch.
Submit documents with the fee slip, collect the student kit and attend orientation.

Entry Test and Merit

Superior conducts its own entry test followed by an interview for undergraduate admission; no external NTS or HEC test is required for most programs. MBBS and BDS admissions follow the MDCAT and PM&DC regulations instead. The university does not publish a merit formula or test pattern on its public pages, so weightage should be confirmed with the admissions office. Fee Structure

Superior publishes a detailed undergraduate fee table. Admission fee is PKR 20,000 for most programs (PKR 15,000 for a few social science degrees) and a miscellaneous fee of PKR 7,500 applies each semester. Representative first-semester tuition figures from the official page:

Scholarships and Financial Aid

The official scholarships page lists several schemes for undergraduates:

High Achievers: intermediate position holders and students with 90% or above get a 100% tuition waiver; A-Level grades of 3 A/A* also earn 100%.
Merit-based: 75–90% marks earn 50–75%, 60–75% earn 30–40%, and 50–60% earn 20%.
Alumni (Superior Group of Colleges) 50%, Kinship 35%, Rector’s Women Empowerment 30% for the first female in a family to study beyond 12 years.
Outstanding sportsmen and extracurricular talent up to 100%; children of Shuhada 100%; differently abled 50%.
Qarz-e-Hasna interest-free loan, Honhaar Scholarship (Punjab domicile, income limit) and the PWWF 100% scheme for children of registered workers.

Why Students Choose Superior

Students pick Superior because almost any undergraduate degree is available under one roof, the scholarship ladder is unusually generous for high scorers, and the multi-campus network lets students from southern Punjab study closer to home. The trade-off is that tuition in flagship programs is on the higher side for a private university, so budgeting against the scholarship table matters.
