NUST Merit Criteria 2026
For undergraduate admission on the NET basis, NUST publishes a merit-generation formula combining the entry test and academic qualifications.
Merit Weightage
- NUST Entry Test (NET): 75%
- SSC / O Level / equivalent: 10%
- HSSC / A Level / equivalent: 15%
NET and Merit
The NET component carries the largest share of the published merit formula. Students should use the current official NUST information when estimating merit.
Important
Merit positions and final selection depend on the applicable admission cycle, programme preferences and available seats. Do not treat an estimated aggregate as a guaranteed admission result.
