BSc Computer Systems Engineering at UET Peshawar is a four-year PEC-accredited engineering degree in the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering. It is listed in the 2026-27 undergraduate prospectus and is one of the two programmes at UET open to candidates who studied Computer Science instead of Chemistry at intermediate level.

Program Overview

The programme integrates hardware and software: digital logic design, computer architecture and organisation, microprocessors and embedded systems, operating systems, data structures and algorithms, computer networks, VLSI, digital signal processing and parallel and distributed computing. Students complete a hardware-software final year project, often in robotics, IoT or FPGA design.

It fits students who enjoy both programming and electronics and want to design complete computing systems. For a software-only path UET offers BSc Software Engineering and BS Computer Science; Computer Systems is the choice for those who want to understand the processor as well as the program.
