Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need an intermediate pass in any stream; check the prospectus for percentage and quota requirements. Selection is through the university pre-entry test (40% minimum) and merit.

Per the Admissions 2027 advertisement, a minimum of 40% in the university’s own pre-entry test is compulsory for bachelor-level admission, and those awaiting HSC-II results can register (Source: Admissions 2027 advertisement).

Admission Process

There is no separate departmental application for BS Persian; everything goes through the Sindh University admission portal. The 2027 advertisement lists online registration from 10 August to 11 September 2026, a Rs. 3,000 processing fee payable through HBL or 1-Bill, and pre-entry test dates of 4 and 11 October 2026 (Source: advertisement_2027.pdf). After the merit list is displayed, selected applicants pay the admission fee within the deadline and deliver the printed form and original transcripts to the Directorate of Admissions in Jamshoro.

Our University of Sindh Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27 record tracks the schedule, and the University of Sindh entry test page explains the pre-entry test format.

Fee Structure

Fees for this programme are set by the university and listed on the Fees Structure page and in the prospectus (Prospectus 2026). We do not quote a semester figure here because it could not be verified from the official page at the time of writing; the Rs. 3,000 processing fee stated in the 2027 advertisement is the only confirmed amount. Check the official website before budgeting.
