Eligibility Criteria
The 2026-27 official eligibility instructions require intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent) for BS programmes, with subject-specific requirements set by each department; computing programmes at PU normally require mathematics at intermediate level, so FSc Pre-Engineering or ICS applicants are the usual entrants. The instructions note that two marks are deducted from the academic percentage for each late session, up to five. The minimum percentage for BSCS was not stated in the general instructions – check the department entry on the portal. The degree is also widely accepted for MS admission at home and abroad. As with any computing degree in Pakistan, practical projects, internships and a good portfolio decide the first job more than the university name alone.
