How to Apply

  1. Open admission.gcwus.com and register with your CNIC/B-Form.
  2. Fill in the application and upload documents.
  3. Pay the processing fee by challan and keep the receipt.
  4. Appear for any departmental test or trial if applicable.
  5. Check merit lists on the website; deposit the admission fee by the deadline and report with originals.

Entry Test and Merit

Open merit on Intermediate marks for all BS programmes; the drawing test applies only to Fine Arts. The merit formula is not published — check the official website. Details: GCWUS entry test page.

Fee and Scholarships

Fee figures are not published on the public site — check the official website or prospectus. Need- and merit-based support is available via the university’s scholarship section and Punjab/HEC schemes; see our scholarships archive.

Documents and Deadlines Checklist

Before you open the portal, scan the following so the application is not held up: Matric certificate and detailed marks sheet, Intermediate result card (or Part-I result with a result-awaiting undertaking), CNIC or B-Form, a guardian’s CNIC, Punjab domicile, a recent passport-size photograph and the paid processing fee challan. Applicants under sports, disability or other quotas should attach the relevant certificate at the time of applying, because quota seats are filled from a separate list. Because GCWUS publishes several merit lists in quick succession, keep checking the website every day in August; a seat offered on one list lapses if the fee is not deposited within the stated days, and it passes to the next candidate on the following list.
