KEMU Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

University: King Edward Medical University Lahore

Admission Information

As of October 2026 the undergraduate picture at King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Lahore is in two phases. The MDCAT 2026 result (test held 20 September 2026) has been declared by UHS, and the UHS portal for MBBS/BDS applications to Punjab’s public colleges was reported open by affiliated colleges on 16 October 2026 — this is the route to a KEMU MBBS seat. KEMU’s own Allied Health Sciences, DPT and AVS cycle for 2026-27 is expected to be advertised in October–November; the previous cycle (session 2026-29) finished its final merit list in May 2026. No Spring 2027 intake exists for these programmes. Background is in the KEMU profile and test details on the KEMU entry test page.

How to Apply

  1. For MBBS, create an account on the UHS public MBBS/BDS portal, enter your MDCAT roll number and academic marks, and rank KEMU among your preferences.
  2. Pay the UHS processing fee by the method shown on the portal and upload scanned documents (Matric, FSc, MDCAT result, domicile, CNIC/B-Form, photograph).
  3. For AHS, DPT, AVS or Post RN BSN, download or fill the KEMU application from kemu.edu.pk/admissions when the notice appears.

Entry Test and Merit

MDCAT is the only test for MBBS, AHS, DPT and AVS. KEMU’s formula for its own programmes is Matric 10%, FSc 45% and MDCAT 45%; last year’s DPT closing aggregate was 92.69 (Source: https://kemu.edu.pk/undergraduates-admissions/). The MBBS aggregate is calculated by UHS under the 2026-27 admission policy. More on the KEMU entry test page.

Fee and Scholarships

Fee schedules are posted as PDFs on the KEMU fee-structure page; the amounts for 2026-27 are not shown as text, so check the official website. The HEC Need Based Scholarship 2026 was advertised to KEMU students in July 2026, and the university maintains a scholarships page. See our scholarships archive for other schemes.
