Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed Intermediate (F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent) and meet the subject prerequisites of the chosen department; candidates awaiting results may apply. Pharm-D requires Intermediate Pre-Medical with at least 60% marks from a recent year. The university also requires a minimum of 50% marks in its admission test (2025 advertisement; confirm for 2026). Admission is restricted to women.
Department-specific requirements (for example science subjects for life and basic sciences, Mathematics for BS Mathematics and Computer Science) are given in the prospectus and on departmental pages at sbkwu.edu.pk.
How to Apply
- Deposit the non-refundable Rs. 1,500 admission fee challan at an HBL or NBP SBKWU branch (Pharm-D applicants also pay a separate Rs. 1,500 NTS fee).
- Use the ‘apply online’ link on the admissions page or download the admission form from sbkwu.edu.pk.
- Attach four photographs and two attested sets of documents: provisional certificate, transcript, domicile/local certificate, CNIC or B-Form of the applicant and guardian, character certificate and the signed affidavit.
- Submit the form to the Student Affairs Department in Quetta or to the relevant sub-campus before the closing date.
- Appear in the admission test and interview on the announced dates with original documents; selected candidates pay the semester fee by the due date or forfeit the seat.
Entry Test and Merit
SBKWU conducts its own written admission test for BS programs, and a candidate must score at least 50% in it to be considered; the final merit then combines academic marks and the test (the exact weightage is not published online – confirm with the Student Affairs Department). Pharm-D admission uses an NTS-conducted test, for which a separate NTS fee applies. The BS Fall 2026 test result was published on the official site in September 2026. Our SBKWU entry test page has more detail.
Fee and Scholarships
SBKWU does not publish a consolidated undergraduate fee table on its website; the only official figure available is the Rs. 1,500 non-refundable application challan. Semester fees are communicated to selected candidates with the merit list – check the official website or contact the Student Affairs Department (+92-81-9213309) before applying.
Students of SBKWU, including sub-campuses, are eligible for the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) scholarships, whose merit lists the university posts each year, plus HEC need-based and Ehsaas scholarships. See our scholarships archive.
