The Nushki Sub-Campus (spelled ‘Noshki’ in some documents) is one of three sub-campuses of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University (SBKWU), Quetta, Balochistan’s public women’s university. It is located in Nushki district, south-west of Quetta on the road to the Iranian border, and serves female students of Nushki and the neighbouring Chagai area.
About the Campus
SBKWU’s official website lists ‘Nushki Sub Campus’ in its campus menu and advertised temporary teaching positions for the Nushki, Pishin and Khuzdar sub-campuses in 2026, which confirms the campus is functioning. However, unlike the Pishin campus, Nushki does not have a dedicated page on the university site, so its establishment year, address and department structure could not be verified from official sources as of October 2026.
Nushki is a sparsely populated desert district with very few higher-education options, particularly for women. A sub-campus of a women’s university in the district allows girls who complete Intermediate at local colleges to continue to a BS or B.Ed. degree without relocating to Quetta – the main reason SBKWU created its district campuses.
