UAJK Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has completed the application phase of its Fall 2026 undergraduate admissions. As of October 2026 the official website shows the Fall 2026 merit list and department-wise merit lists, meaning the cycle is in the enrolment and fee-submission stage. A Spring 2027 intake for selected departments has not yet been announced; it is normally advertised in December. This record accompanies the UAJK profile and entry test guide.

Programs Open for Admission

Fall 2026 undergraduate programmes were offered across the Faculty of Science (Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, CS & IT, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Sports Science), the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Art & Design, English, Urdu, Management Sciences, Law, Islamic Studies, International Relations, Education, Economics, Psychology, Mass Communication, Islamic Economy & Banking, Sociology), Engineering (Electrical, Software) and Health and Medical Sciences (DPT, Public Health, Allied Health, Nursing), at the Muzaffarabad campuses and the Neelum and Jhelum Valley campuses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Intermediate or equivalent with the minimum marks set for each programme
• Relevant subject group for science, engineering and health programmes
• AJK domicile for state seats; reserved seats as per policy
• Valid CNIC/B-Form, domicile and IBCC equivalence where needed

How to Apply

1. Create an account at admissions.ajku.edu.pk
2. Fill in the online form and choose department and campus preferences
3. Upload scanned certificates, domicile, CNIC/B-Form and photo
4. Generate the processing-fee challan and pay it at the bank
5. Submit the application and keep the printed copy
6. Check the department-wise merit list and pay dues by the stated date
7. Report to the department with original documents for verification and complete enrolment

Entry Test and Merit

Fee and Scholarships

Documents and Tips for Applicants

Prepare scanned copies of matric and intermediate certificates with detailed marks sheets, AJK domicile or state-subject certificate, CNIC or B-Form, a guardian CNIC and a recent photograph; the online form will not submit without them. UAJK lists merit department by department, so look up the page of the department you applied to rather than a single combined list. If you applied to a valley campus and a Muzaffarabad campus, the two are treated as separate choices and may have different closing merits. Original documents are verified at the time of enrolment, and any discrepancy between the uploaded scan and the original leads to cancellation. Hostel accommodation at the Chehla and King Abdullah campuses is limited, so submit the hostel form on the same day you pay admission dues.
