UET Mardan Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

UET Mardan’s Fall 2026 undergraduate cycle is in its final phase. Online applications closed in early August 2026, five merit lists for BSc Engineering have been issued, and the university has been filling vacant self-sustain seats in BS Computer Science through supplementary lists. As of October 2026 no further open application window is advertised and no Spring 2027 undergraduate intake has been announced. The next regular intake is Fall 2027. If you missed the 2026 window, use the gap to sit the next ETEA Engineering test with a stronger score and to collect the documents UET Mardan asks for at interview: original matric and intermediate certificates with DMCs, the ETEA result card, CNIC or Form B, domicile certificate, passport photographs and the paid Bank of Khyber challan. Candidates whose FSc Part II result is not yet declared should also prepare the stamp-paper undertaking the university requires. Keep in mind that a candidate who is offered a seat on one merit list and does not confirm it is removed from every later list, so decide on your seat category — open merit, self-sustain or self-finance — before the interview day rather than on it.

The fifth merit list still carried open-merit and self-sustain seats in Electrical, Mechanical and Telecommunication Engineering and self-finance seats in Software Engineering, which suggests those disciplines had the most late-phase vacancies in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Engineering: Intermediate with at least 60 percent unadjusted marks in a PEC-approved combination, or DAE with 60 percent for the relevant discipline.
• A valid ETEA Engineering score for the current year.
• Result-awaiting candidates may apply with the roll-number slip and an undertaking.
• BS CS: eligibility per the programs eligibility page on the official website.

How to Apply

1. Sit the ETEA Engineering test and keep the result card.
2. Open uetmardan.edu.pk/engineering (or the ugadmissions form for BS CS) and complete the online application.
3. Upload clear scans of matric and intermediate certificates, CNIC or Form B, domicile and ETEA result.
4. Deposit Rs. 1,500 (engineering) or Rs. 2,000 (non-engineering) at Bank of Khyber and record the challan.
5. Watch the news section for merit lists; appear for the interview on the stated dates with originals.
6. Pay the admission fee at the interview — failure to confirm removes you from later lists.

Entry Test and Merit

Engineering merit is 10 percent SSC, 50 percent HSSC and 40 percent ETEA; BS CS and BS English use 30 percent SSC and 70 percent HSSC. The UET Mardan entry test guide explains the formula, tie-breakers and the Hafiz-e-Quran bonus.

Fee and Scholarships

Fees stated on the fifth merit list for engineering seats: Rs. 95,000 (open merit), Rs. 165,000 (self-sustain) and Rs. 195,000 (self-finance), inclusive of a one-time Rs. 13,600 admission fee; hostel Rs. 48,920 per year plus Rs. 10,000 refundable security.
