The University of Engineering and Technology Mardan (UET Mardan) is a public-sector engineering university in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It began life as the Mardan campus of UET Peshawar and was later chartered by the provincial government as an independent university; the campus sits on the Charsadda Road side of the city. UET Mardan is a compact institution focused on engineering, computing and applied sciences, and it is listed among HEC-recognised public universities. Its engineering degrees are offered under Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) rules, which is why an ETEA score is compulsory for every BSc Engineering seat.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
The official pages reviewed for this profile do not list a scholarship scheme for undergraduates. As a public university UET Mardan students generally remain eligible for HEC need-based and provincial endowment schemes, but confirm what is actually on offer with the Directorate of Admissions. Our scholarships archive covers the national schemes.
Campuses
UET Mardan operates a single campus in Mardan. It has no sub-campuses listed on the official website.
Why Students Choose UET Mardan
Students from Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda and the surrounding districts choose UET Mardan because it offers PEC-accredited engineering degrees close to home, with open-merit fees well below private engineering colleges. The smaller size also means more direct contact with faculty than at the larger UET Peshawar. Compare it with UET Peshawar before finalising your ETEA preference list.
