UET Peshawar Jalozai Campus, also called the Nowshera Campus, is the largest satellite campus of the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar. It is located on Pabbi-Cherat Road about 11 km south of the GT Road in district Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and according to the official ‘About UET’ page spreads over 402 acres with about 3,240 resident students.
About the Campus
Jalozai was developed as a purpose-built campus to relieve pressure on the congested Peshawar site and now houses eight departments according to the university. The 2026-27 prospectus lists Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering along with Computer Science at Nowshera, and many first-year engineering sections of the main-campus programmes are also taught here. Its green, spacious layout is a contrast with the old Peshawar campus, and it has become the main residential campus of the university.

Admissions at this Campus
Admission to every UET Peshawar campus is centralised. Candidates take the ETEA engineering entrance test, then apply through the single online portal at admission.uetpeshawar.edu.pk, listing their preferred disciplines and campuses in order; the university prepares merit lists for each programme-campus combination. There is no separate campus-level application. Open-merit seats require KP or erstwhile FATA domicile and at least 60 percent unadjusted marks in FSc or equivalent.
