JUW Entry Test 2026-27

Jinnah University for Women admits through its own aptitude test, an academic score and an interview. The official admission policy describes the test in broad terms, which we summarise here. Read the JUW profile for the institution and the JUW admissions 2026-27 for the current cycle.

Which Test Is Required

All undergraduate applicants (BS, BBA, Pharm-D, DPT, BEMS, BHMS, ADP) sit the JUW aptitude test; there is no NTS or HEC USAT route. MS applicants face a GRE General-pattern test and PhD applicants a GRE Subject-pattern test.

Eligibility

• Women candidates only.
• Prerequisite exam passed within the last five years; older qualifications are considered on merit.
• Third division or below 45% in the prerequisite exam is not eligible.
• Cambridge and Deeni Madaris candidates need IBCC equivalence; public-sector degrees are verified by the University Equivalence Committee.
• Candidates already holding a BS or Masters cannot apply afresh to a BS or Masters.

Registration and Fee

Register manually at the Nazimabad campus or online when the announcement appears. A registration fee is payable on form submission; the amount is not published, so check the official website. After payment you receive the admit card and the kit containing the test schedule and sample paper.

Schedule

JUW runs Fall and Spring cycles. For Fall 2026 the official page recorded interviews on 16 May 2026 and listed a third test registration round, while Spring 2025 and December 2025 interview dates show that Spring testing typically falls in November and December. Spring 2027 dates were not posted as of October 2026; check the official website.

Merit Formula

Merit combines the Academic Eligibility Score, aptitude test and interview; no percentage weightages are published. Check the official website.

The admission kit JUW hands out after registration contains the test schedule and a sample paper; study it rather than relying on general GMAT books alone, because the paper is pitched at Intermediate level. Third-round registration is sometimes opened when seats remain, so applicants who miss the first test date should keep watching the university website.

Preparation Tips

• Practise GMAT-style quantitative and verbal questions under a strict one-hour limit.
• Revise Intermediate subjects relevant to your program group (pre-medical for pharmacy and DPT, maths for computing).
• Use the sample paper from the admission kit to learn the question format.
• Prepare a short, confident introduction for the interview; it is a scored stage.
• Get IBCC equivalence early if you come from Cambridge or madrasa boards.
