KFUEIT Entry Test 2026-27

About This Entry Test

Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, admits undergraduate students through its own entry test followed by an interview. This guide covers which programs need the test, how registration works, and how to prepare. Read it with the KFUEIT profile and the KFUEIT admissions 2026-27 record.

Which Test Is Required

The official admissions pages state that admission requires passing the university entry test and an interview in addition to meeting academic eligibility. In practice this means engineering, computing and science programs all go through the KFUEIT test. The university does not advertise NTS NAT or HEC HAT/USAT as a substitute on its public pages; if you hold an ECAT score, ask the admissions office whether it is accepted, because this is not confirmed on the website.

KFUEIT has a dedicated entry test page under Admissions on kfueit.edu.pk, but its contents could not be verified at the time of writing, so we have not listed a pattern. Pre-engineering candidates should expect questions from intermediate-level Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science and English, which is the standard shape of university engineering tests in Punjab.

Eligibility

  • Intermediate (FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS, Pre-Medical for relevant programs) or equivalent, with the minimum percentage set for each program on the official eligibility page.
  • DAE holders may apply to related engineering programs under the separate DAE eligibility criteria published by the university.
  • A-Level and foreign candidates need an IBCC equivalence certificate.

Registration and Fee

Register through the KFUEIT e-Portal. The entry test is linked to the admission application, so completing the online form and paying the processing fee normally covers test registration. The fee amount is not shown on the public pages; check the official website.

Schedule

The Fall 2026 admission notice is published on the official site; the test is usually held in the July to August window after the Fall application deadline. Exact 2026-27 dates could not be verified here, so check the official website and the “Important Dates” page under Admissions.

Merit Formula

The university publishes a “Merit Determination” page, but the weightage figures were not verifiable at the time of writing. Check the official website before calculating your aggregate.

Preparation Tips

  • Revise the full FSc or ICS syllabus for Mathematics, Physics and your third subject; university tests rarely go beyond intermediate level.
  • Practise MCQ sets under a timer so you can finish within the allotted time.
  • Brush up English grammar, vocabulary and comprehension, which are common sections in Punjab engineering tests.
  • Keep a copy of your roll number slip and CNIC or B-Form ready for test day.
  • Prepare for the interview too: be ready to explain why you chose the program.

On test day, bring the printed roll number slip from the e-Portal, your original CNIC or B-Form, and a couple of blue or black ballpoint pens; calculators and phones are normally not allowed in university entry tests. Reach the centre at least 45 minutes early, since reporting usually closes before the test starts. If the university offers more than one test sitting, the better score is generally used, but confirm this on the official entry-test page rather than assuming it.

If your test result is weaker than expected, remember that intermediate marks still form the largest share of the aggregate in most Punjab engineering universities, and that KFUEIT also fills seats through later merit lists as higher-ranked candidates withdraw. Keep checking the e-Portal through the merit-list period rather than giving up after the first list.
