MNSUAM Entry Test 2026-27

About This Entry Test

MNS University of Agriculture, Multan (MNSUAM) admits most undergraduates on open merit, but its engineering programs require an entry test. This guide explains what the official eligibility page says and how to prepare. See also the MNSUAM profile and admissions record.

Which Test Is Required

  • BSc Agricultural Engineering: entry test compulsory, minimum 33% marks; accepted tests are MNSUAM, UET (ECAT), UAF and HEC tests.
  • B.E. Tech (Agro Industrial): MNSUAM, UET (ECAT), UAF and HEC tests accepted.
  • All other 21 undergraduate programs (BSc Hons Agriculture, BS Computer Science, BS Food Science, BBA Agribusiness, biosciences, etc.): no entry test listed — admission on academic merit.
  • A “Screening Test” is also run by the university in 2026; check the official website for which applicants it applies to.

Preparation Tips

  • Engineering applicants: prepare for ECAT-level Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry MCQs; an ECAT score is accepted.
  • Keep the 33% minimum in mind — it is a threshold, but merit depends on the full aggregate.
  • Open-merit applicants: your intermediate percentage decides everything, so submit improvement results if you have them.
  • Check the deficiency-course rules if you are Pre-Medical applying to engineering or CS.
  • Keep domicile and equivalence documents ready for upload.

For most MNSUAM applicants the practical question is not the test but the aggregate. Since the university does not run a general entry test for its agriculture, business, bioscience and computing programs, admission turns on intermediate marks, the relevant subject group and the order of preferences entered on the portal. Listing a realistic second and third choice is the best way to avoid ending the cycle without a seat.

Engineering applicants can use a UET ECAT score, a UAF test score, an HEC test or the university’s own test; the 33% threshold for Agricultural Engineering is a pass mark, and higher scores help the aggregate. The university also lists a Screening Test Result system for 2026; applicants invited to a screening test should check their roll number and result on rtest.mnsuam.edu.pk.
