Admission Process
MNSUAM admits for Fall each year, usually in several phases. Applicants register on the online admission system, select programs, pay the processing fee challan (amount: check the official website), and upload documents. Most programs are admitted on academic merit; engineering programs require an entry test. Merit lists for 2026 (including a BSc Hons Agriculture second merit list and postgraduate lists) are posted on the official site.
Entry Test and Merit
Officially, BSc Agricultural Engineering requires a minimum of 33% in an entry test, with MNSUAM, UET (ECAT), UAF and HEC tests accepted; B.E. Tech (Agro Industrial) accepts the same tests. Other programs list no entry test. The university also posts a “Screening Test Result 2026”. Merit weightage is not published on the pages we verified; check the official website. See the MNSUAM entry test page.
Fee Structure
Fees are not shown on the public admission pages we verified; check the official website or the admission guidelines.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
MNSUAM has a Student Financial Aid Office and a scholarships page on its website (official link); specific schemes should be confirmed there. National options are in our scholarships archive.
Campuses
The university operates from its main Multan campus; no sub-campuses are listed on the official site. See the campuses archive.
Why Students Choose MNSUAM
MNSUAM gives south Punjab students a public agriculture university close to home with unusually broad program choice, from poultry science to data science, and mostly merit-based admission without a general entry test. Its links with the regional farming economy support practical training.
MNSUAM’s campus on Old Shujaabad Road is on the southern edge of Multan, with hostels for students from across south Punjab and the adjacent districts of Sindh and Balochistan. The university maintains research farms and livestock facilities that support its agriculture, veterinary and food science degrees, and its Faculty of Computing is a newer addition serving demand for IT degrees in the region.
Eligibility rules are program-specific and worth reading carefully. Several bioscience programs admit Pre-Engineering and Pre-Agriculture students only after a Biology deficiency course, BS Computer Science requires Mathematics at intermediate or a Maths deficiency course, and some programs reserve a handful of seats for DAE or DAS diploma holders. A two-year BSc or ADP in Botany or Zoology can lead to fifth-semester entry in BS Zoology.
