University of Haripur Entry Test 2026-27
About This Entry Test
The University of Haripur admits almost all of its BS students without an entrance exam, which makes it a popular open-merit option in Hazara division. This page explains the one program that does require a test, how merit is read from your board results, the eligibility thresholds that the official site publishes, and how to make the most of an open-merit application. The institution itself is covered in the University of Haripur profile.
Which Test Is Required
- BS programs in all four faculties, BBA and B.Ed: no entry test; open merit on SSC and HSSC marks.
- LLB (four years): HEC Law Admission Test (LAT) with a minimum of 50 percent.
- MS, MPhil, MBA and PhD: university entry test (26 July 2026 in the 2026 cycle) — not relevant to undergraduates.
- No ETEA, NTS NAT or HEC USAT requirement is stated for BS admission.

| LLB | HEC LAT | Set by HEC — check the official website at etc.hec.gov.pk |
Eligibility
- Most social science, biological and physical science programs: FA/FSc or equivalent with at least 45 percent; some (Physics, Mathematics, Microbiology, Public Health) specify second division.

Schedule
| Phase 1 online deadline | 24 July 2026 |
| Phase 2 (BS) online deadline | 29 September 2026 |
| Phase 2 merit lists | Published on the admissions page, October 2026 |
| Classes start | Check the official website |
For 2027, expect a similar July deadline with a second phase in September — confirm on the official website.
Merit Formula
LLB: LAT 50 percent, matric 10 percent, FSc 40 percent. For all other BS programs the official pages do not publish a weightage; check the official website or the program merit list.
Preparation Tips
- With no test, your HSSC percentage decides the outcome — prioritise second-year board preparation.
- Read the program-wise eligibility row before applying; a 45 percent result will not do for the IT faculty or DPT.
- Apply in Phase 1; Phase 2 only reopens for seats left vacant.
- LLB applicants should book the earliest LAT sitting and target well above the 50 percent floor, since LAT is half the merit.
- Check the fee schedule for your program so you can deposit the first-semester fee within the merit-list deadline.
