University of Haripur

The University of Haripur (UoH) is a public-sector general university in Haripur district, Hazara division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, established in 2012. It serves students from Haripur, Abbottabad, Attock and the Islamabad–Taxila belt and has grown into four faculties offering an unusually wide BS menu for a young university — from agriculture and forestry to physiotherapy, data science and law. UoH is HEC-recognised and admits undergraduates on open merit without a university entry test, with LLB the one exception.

Admission Process

UoH runs a Fall intake with phased deadlines and also admits lateral-entry students into the fifth semester of BS programs. In 2026 the first phase closed on 24 July 2026 and a second phase for BS programs closed on 29 September 2026, with Phase 2 merit lists published on the admissions page.

Apply online at admission.uoh.edu.pk and upload documents.
Pay the application fee as per the bank details on the How to Apply page (amount: check the official website).
Wait for the merit list of your program and phase.
Deposit the first-semester fee by the date on the list to confirm the seat.

Entry Test and Merit

No university entry test is held for BS programs; admission is on open merit from SSC and HSSC marks. LLB requires the HEC Law Admission Test with at least 50 percent, and its merit is LAT 50 percent, matric 10 percent, FSc 40 percent. UoH teaches from its main campus on Hattar Road, Haripur. No sub-campuses are listed on the official website.
