UHE Entry Test 2026-27
About This Entry Test
The University of Home Economics Lahore (UHE) uses program-specific tests rather than one general entry test. This page sets out what the official Fall 2026 Phase III schedule shows and how to prepare. Read it with the UHE profile and the admissions record.

Schedule
Fall 2026 Phase III drawing tests, written tests and interviews were all held on Wednesday 30 September 2026 (official schedule). Earlier phases ran through July and August. Expect similar phased dates in 2027; check the official website.
Merit Formula
Not published on the official pages we verified; check the official website or prospectus.
Preparation Tips
- Practise timed observational drawing of objects and figures with pencil shading — the test allows no rulers.
- For English, revise grammar, comprehension and short essay writing.
- Gather original documents and the paid challan in one file for the interview.
- Be ready to discuss why you chose the department and any related work.
- Watch the official admissions tutorial video linked on the admissions page before applying.
The drawing test is the main hurdle for design applicants. Candidates draw from observation within a two-hour window without rulers or scales, and the department interviews them the same afternoon. Bringing the specified board and sheet sizes is not optional; candidates without proper materials may be unable to complete the test. Pencil kits with a range of grades (HB to 6B) help with shading.
For MS and MPhil applicants, written aptitude tests are held by each department, often in the morning, with interviews after noon. Timings differ by department — some sessions run 9:30 to 10:30 am — so read the row for your program in the schedule PDF rather than assuming a common start time.
