How Admission Works Without a Test

At the University of Sahiwal, merit lists are prepared programme-wise and section-wise (morning and evening). Because your Intermediate percentage is the main input, two applicants with the same marks are separated by the rules in the prospectus (for example Matric marks or date of birth). Candidates on a waiting list should keep checking the portal dashboard; seats vacated by non-payment are offered to the next candidates in later lists, often within a week. For LL.B., the LAT score is a qualifying condition (pass/fail) rather than a weighted component unless the university’s advertisement says otherwise.

Preparation Tips

  • Maximise your Intermediate marks; for most programmes that is the whole merit.
  • Law applicants should register for the next HEC LAT sitting well before the admission deadline.
  • If a computing test is announced, revise Intermediate mathematics, basic English and logical reasoning.
  • Apply for both morning and evening sections where available to widen your chances.
  • Email the admission help desk early if your documents or domicile raise any question.
