University of Sahiwal

The University of Sahiwal (UOS) is a public sector university in Sahiwal, Punjab, established in 2016 (Source: uosahiwal.edu.pk). It is a compact, focused institution: six faculties, a strong computing and management core, a five-year LL.B., and growing science departments, all on a single campus on University Road. For students of Sahiwal division — Sahiwal, Pakpattan and neighbouring tehsils — it is the nearest public university offering BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, BBA and BS Economics with Data Science at public-sector fees.

Admission Process

UOS runs its main undergraduate intake in Fall (applications typically July–September) and may offer 5th-semester intake alongside. The process is handled through the university’s own portal developed by its IT directorate.

Sign up at admissions.uosahiwal.edu.pk with your CNIC/B-Form and create a password.
Complete the application and upload documents.
Pay the application processing fee as specified on the portal (amount not published on the main website — check the official website).
Appear for an entry test if your programme requires one (see below).
Check merit lists on the website; pay the admission fee by the deadline; report to the department.

Entry Test and Merit

For most BS programmes, UOS admits on merit from Intermediate marks. The official website does not list a general undergraduate entry test, though some programmes (for example in computing) may use a test or interview as notified in the advertisement.
