WUM Entry Test 2026-27

About This Entry Test

This page answers the most common question from applicants to The Women University Multan: is there an entry test for BS or ADP? We explain the university’s published position for 2026-27, who can apply, how to register and what to do to maximise your merit.

Which Test Is Required

  • ADP and BS (4-year) — no undergraduate entry test is described on the official website; admission is on merit from Intermediate marks.
  • BS 5th semester (post-ADP) — merit from the ADP result.
  • Pharm.D. — FSc Pre-Medical merit as per the advertisement; MDCAT is not required for Pharm.D.
  • MS/MPhil and PhD — HEC HAT or the university’s own test (the website lists HAT for MPhil/PhD); not relevant for undergraduates.

Eligibility

  • Female candidates only (stated on the official site).
  • Intermediate or equivalent with the programme-wise minimum percentage given in the advertisement (check the official website).
  • 5th-semester entry: a relevant two-year ADP.
  • Candidates must upload a paid processing-fee challan with the application.

Registration and Fee

Register at admissions.wum.edu.pk, pay the challan and upload it. The processing fee amount is not shown on the public website — check the official website.

Schedule

For the 2026 intake the advertisement was announced on 24 June 2026 with a closing date of 17 July 2026 (as circulated by admission listing sites — confirm on the official website). After the merit rounds, WUM announced that students who missed the last chance could visit the university for remaining ADP/BS seats. Spring 2027 is not announced — check the official website.

Merit Formula

The university states that merit is calculated by the admission committee under university rules, combining weighted previous-degree marks with entry test marks where applicable, plus 20 marks for Hafiz-e-Quran. The specific weightages are not published — check the official website.

How Admission Works Without a Test

Since there is no written paper, the competition at WUM is entirely on the published merit list. The admission committee ranks all applicants for a programme by their computed merit, allocates regular and quota seats, and publishes the list on the website. Candidates who do not pay the fee in time are dropped and the next list is issued. This makes two things matter more than usual: a complete application with every document uploaded, and realistic programme choices based on last year’s closing merit, which WUM publishes on its admissions page.

Preparation Tips

  • Your Intermediate percentage decides merit — concentrate on board exams, not a test.
  • If you are Hafiz-e-Quran, bring the certificate; it adds 20 marks under WUM rules.
  • Upload the paid challan immediately — applications without it are incomplete.
  • Check last closing merit on the WUM admissions page to pick realistic programmes.
  • Visit the campus in the late-admission window if you miss the online deadline; seats are sometimes still available.
