Admission Process

IIUI’s official Admission Policy (June 2025) fixes two cycles. Fall: applications from the first week of June to 15 July, classes on the first working day of September. Spring: applications from the first week of November to 15 December, classes on the first working day of February. Pakistani applicants pay a processing fee of Rs. 1,500, which covers up to five programs within one faculty; a different faculty requires another fee. Overseas applicants pay USD 100. Entry Test and Merit

IIUI has moved away from a university-run undergraduate test except where an accreditation body (PEC, PM&DC, HEC for law) requires one; for other programs it accepts a valid HEC test result, and many programs are filled on open merit. Standard merit is SSC 40% + HSSC 60%; where a test is required without accreditation guidelines it is SSC 15% + HSSC 25% + Test 60%. Fee Structure

IIUI’s fee varies widely between faculties — Shariah, Arabic and Islamic Studies programs are heavily subsidised while engineering and computing cost more. Official per-program fee tables were not published on the pages we verified, so check the official website or prospectus for current figures.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

IIUI participates in the HEC need-based scholarship, the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship and offers its own fee concessions; specific internal schemes should be confirmed with the university’s financial assistance office. Many Islamic studies and Arabic programs also carry stipends for international students. See the scholarships archive.

Campuses

The main campus in H-10 is split into separate male and female campuses, each with its own faculties, hostels and administration. The older Faisal Masjid campus houses some Shariah and Islamic studies departments. There are no sub-campuses in other cities. See the campuses archive.

Why Students Choose IIUI

Students choose IIUI for its breadth — few universities let you study electrical engineering, Arabic and Islamic economics on the same campus — its low processing fee, twice-yearly intake and gender-segregated environment that many families prefer.
