National Textile University (NTU) in Faisalabad is Pakistan’s only public-sector university dedicated to textiles, polymers and the apparel industry, although it now also runs computing, business, design and science programs. It began in 1959 as the Institute of Textile Technology and was upgraded to a federally chartered university in 2002. Sitting in the heart of the country’s textile belt, NTU is known for close industry ties, a dense scholarship list funded by textile groups, and graduates who move straight into mills, brands and export houses. Entry Test and Merit

Why Students Choose NTU
Students choose NTU for direct access to Pakistan’s largest export sector, industry-sponsored scholarships that can cover full tuition and hostel, and a Faisalabad location that keeps living costs modest. Its computing and design programs are newer than its textile core, so compare them with Punjab University or COMSATS if those are your focus.
