Entry Test and Merit

No entry test is mentioned for BS admission; merit is based on academic record. Reserved seats: ex-FATA and Balochistan 5 percent, sports 2 percent, Afghan students two per discipline, Hafiz-e-Quran, disabled students one per discipline, daughters of advocates one seat (LLB only), minorities 2 percent and children of overseas Pakistanis 2 percent. LLB applicants should expect the HEC LAT requirement that applies to all Pakistani law programs — check the official website. The weightage is not published; see the Women University Swabi entry test page.

Fee Structure

The official site publishes the fee structure as an image on the admissions page; figures were not readable in the pages reviewed — check the official website.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

No scholarship scheme is listed on the admissions page reviewed. As a public university, WUS students can apply for HEC need-based scholarships and provincial schemes; ask the admissions office and see the scholarships archive.

Campuses

WUS teaches from its campus in Swabi; no sub-campuses are listed on the official website. The admissions page notes that interviews, sports trials and evaluations for students with disabilities are all held on campus before the first merit list, and that merit lists are displayed there as well as online, so candidates from outlying tehsils should plan at least two visits during the admission week.

Why Students Choose Women University Swabi

Families in Swabi and nearby districts choose WUS because it is a women-only public campus close to home, with a program list that runs from Computer Science and Medical Imaging Technology to Law and Journalism. Open-merit admission without a separate test keeps the process simple for FSc and FA graduates.
