Hamdard University Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

Hamdard University admits in Fall and Spring. As of October 2026 the official portal still displays “Admissions for Fall-2026”, and a Spring 2027 announcement had not been posted; by the university’s own calendar the Spring intake commences in November, so the next window is expected shortly. This page records what is verified; the Hamdard University profile covers the institution and the Hamdard University entry test guide the admission test.

Entry Test and Merit

Hamdard’s own test applies to all programs except MBBS and BDS (MDCAT). SAT I above 1900 or GMAT above 600 earns a test exemption. No merit formula is published.

Fee and Scholarships

The 2026-27 first-semester total is Rs. 143,000 for BS Computer Science, Rs. 130,000 for BBA, Rs. 145,600 for BE Electrical and Rs. 165,000 for LLB, each inclusive of the admission fee. Documents and Practical Notes

Hamdard’s portal asks you to choose a campus before a program, so decide between Karachi and Islamabad first; fee pages differ for the two. Required uploads are Matric and Intermediate marksheets and certificates (or O and A Level with IBCC equivalence), CNIC or B-Form, and a photograph; applicants awaiting results can upload the statement of entry. The processing fee voucher is generated after submission and must be paid at a UBL branch before the admit card unlocks. Engineering applicants should confirm their separate processing fee with the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology, which the FAQ excludes from the Rs. 1,500 figure. The main campus at Madinat al-Hikmah is far from central Karachi, so check the university transport routes before enrolling.

Tips for Applicants

• Review every field before you submit; the form cannot be edited afterwards.
• List realistic second and third program preferences, since offers follow merit by preference order.
• Download the fee structure PDF for MBBS or BDS if you are applying to the medical college.
• Ask about university-funded financial assistance at the interview stage rather than after admission.
