LUMHS Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

As of October 2026, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro has 2026-27 admission posters on its homepage but the admission portal still shows the 2024-25 notices as its most recent full documents. The MDCAT 2026 result is out nationally, and the Sindh public sector MBBS/BDS central admission run by LUMHS is expected to open in the coming weeks; the last cycle was advertised on 1 December 2024. Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS: HSSC Pre-Medical 60% minimum and MDCAT 55% minimum (2024-25 policy); Sindh domicile with PRC Form-C from a district tagged to the college.
• BDS: HSSC Pre-Medical 60% and MDCAT 50% minimum (2024-25 policy).
• DPT: HSSC Pre-Medical 60% or equivalent A Level.
• BSN and BS MLT: HSSC 50% minimum.
• Overseas and foreign nationals: separate LUMHS forms.

How to Apply

1. Watch admission.lumhs.edu.pk for the 2026-27 MBBS/BDS public sector notice.
2. Create an account, enter your MDCAT 2026 roll number, Matric and HSSC marks, domicile and PRC details.
3. Pay the processing fee (Rs 2,500 plus TCS charge in 2024-25 — confirm current amount) and submit the printed form through the designated TCS branch if required.
4. For BS programmes, apply online in the December–January window, pay the Rs 5,000 test fee (2024-25 figure) and download the admit slip.
5. Sit the LUMHS entry test (BS) or wait for the MDCAT-based merit list; on selection, deposit fees and report with original documents.

Two practical points for Sindh applicants. First, district tagging decides which public college you can be allotted — candidates from districts tagged to LUMHS compete for Jamshoro and Bilawal Medical College seats, and students from other districts for their own tagged colleges — so verify your PRC district before applying. Second, the LUMHS portal has in past years required the printed form to be dropped at a designated TCS branch; read the 2026-27 notice carefully for whether that step still applies.

Entry Test and Merit
