Nishtar Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

For session 2026-27, Nishtar Medical University (NMU) Multan has one cycle open as of October 2026: MBBS and BDS admission through the UHS public sector portal, which affiliated colleges reported open on 16 October 2026 following the MDCAT 2026 result. NMU’s own four-year Allied Health (BS technology) and BSN admissions are not yet advertised for 2026-27; the previous round closed on 6 January 2026, so a December 2026 notice is likely. Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS/BDS: FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent, MDCAT 2026 pass, Punjab domicile; percentages as per the UHS policy 2026-27.
• BS technology: FSc (Pre-Medical) — minimum percentage per NMU notice.
• BSN: FSc Pre-Medical; other conditions per notice.

How to Apply

1. Register on the UHS public MBBS/BDS portal with your MDCAT 2026 roll number.
2. Fill in marks, upload documents and place Nishtar Medical College / Nishtar Institute of Dentistry in your preference list.
3. Pay the UHS processing fee and submit before the deadline.
4. For BS technology or BSN, watch nmu.edu.pk/admission for the notice, then submit the NMU form with the fee receipt.
5. After merit lists, report to NMU with original documents and deposit fees in the stated period.

Because Nishtar is the only public medical university in southern Punjab, its seats close at a competitive aggregate through the UHS list, and allied health seats fill within the first two or three merit lists. South Punjab applicants should check whether their district has any reserved or reciprocal seats in the UHS policy. NMU posts its allied health notices as images, so download and read the full advertisement rather than relying on the summary line; the closing date and fee are printed in the image. Applicants from Vehari, Lodhran and Khanewal often also keep a non-medical backup such as the COMSATS Vehari campus, whose spring intake runs separately.

Entry Test and Merit
