Admission Information
This record tracks undergraduate admissions at the University of Okara for the 2026-27 academic year. Status as of October 2026: the Fall 2026 application window (closing date advertised for late June 2026, with later extensions possible) has ended, and the official merit list page currently shows no active lists for Fall 2026 — meaning the first-phase selection is complete and classes have begun. The university has not yet announced a Spring 2027 intake on its website; if one opens, it would normally be advertised in December–January. Check the official website for any late-phase or Spring notice.

A 5th-semester (post-ADP) intake was also offered in selected subjects such as BBA, English, Education, Biochemistry and Statistics. Eligibility Criteria
- BS (4-year): Intermediate or equivalent with the minimum percentage set per programme in the advertisement (generally 45–50%).
- Pharm.D.: FSc Pre-Medical with at least the percentage stated in the advertisement (60% has been the published requirement).
- BEMS: FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent as per the advertisement.
- Post-ADP / 5th semester: a two-year ADP or equivalent 14 years of education in a relevant field.

How to Apply
- Register on uoadmissions.uo.edu.pk using your CNIC or B-Form number.
- Complete the online form and upload clear scans of your certificates, photograph and identity documents.
- Pick your programme(s); a challan for the processing fee is generated for each application.
- Pay the challan at the bank and confirm payment status in the portal before the deadline.
- Download your application copy; monitor merit lists; on selection, pay the semester fee within the stated days and report to the department with original documents.
Entry Test and Merit
No general entry test is required for BS admission. Merit is based on Intermediate marks, with any programme-specific test (for example in Fine Arts) run by the department. The official merit formula is not published on the main website — check the official website. Full details are on our UO entry test page.
Fee and Scholarships
Semester fees are shown inside the admission portal and prospectus rather than on the public website — check the official website for your programme. Students can apply through the Financial Aid Office for need- and merit-based concessions, and Punjab-domiciled students may be eligible for the Honhaar scholarship and HEC need-based support.
