How to Apply

  1. Download the prospectus from uvas.edu.pk and read the eligibility and merit rules for your programs.
  2. Register on the online UG admission portal with a personal email and mobile number; admission updates are sent only there.
  3. Fill the form, upload CNIC/B-Form and academic documents, and rank your program and campus preferences carefully – the order cannot be changed later.
  4. Pay the processing fee by the online challan at any Bank Alfalah branch, or by card/One Link: Rs. 1,500 for one program, Rs. 300 for each additional program and Rs. 300 extra for sports quota.
  5. Watch the master list and merit lists on the UVAS website; if selected, deposit the fee by the list’s deadline and submit the printed form, paid challan and original documents to the Convener Admission Committee, Out Fall Road, Lahore.

Entry Test and Merit

UVAS does not conduct a subject entry test for undergraduate admission and does not use MDCAT for DVM. Merit is calculated purely from academic marks: 70% weight to Intermediate (or A-Level/DAE equivalent) and 30% to Matriculation (or O-Level), plus Hafiz-e-Quran marks where applicable. Because the formula is academic, the previous year’s closing merit for each discipline (published on the official site as ‘Discipline Wise Last Year Merit’) is the best guide to your chances. See our UVAS entry test page.

Fee and Scholarships

Official fee page (Fees and Dues 2026): one-time admission fee Rs. 10,000 and registration fee Rs. 10,000, plus Rs. 4,400 certificate verification, Rs. 500 ID card and refundable securities (Rs. 2,500 university, Rs. 5,000 library). Total first-semester fee is Rs. 79,860 for DVM, Pharm-D, BS Computer Science and most BS programs at the Lahore City Campus (Rs. 64,130 in the 2nd semester, Rs. 55,060 from the 3rd); Rs. 52,340 for BS programs at Ravi, Jhang and Narowal (Rs. 52,390 for BSCS at Ravi); and Rs. 59,680 for BBA. Evening/self-finance sessions carry large extra charges – DVM evening Rs. 125,000 per semester at Lahore and Rs. 100,000 at Jhang and Narowal, Pharm-D evening Rs. 125,000, BSCS evening Rs. 50,000 (Lahore) or Rs. 30,000 (Ravi).
