Narowal Campus (KBCMA CVAS) – UVAS

KBCMA College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Narowal: UVAS sub-campus established 2017 on Shakargarh Road offering DVM, BS Applied Microbiology, BS...

The Khan Bahadar Choudhry Mushtaq Ahmed College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KBCMA CVAS), Narowal, is a sub-campus of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. According to the official principal’s message, the college was established in 2017 and is located at 5 km Shakargarh Road, Narowal, on a 107-acre site in north-eastern Punjab.

About the Campus

Narowal district, bordering India and close to Sialkot, is a dairy and crop-farming area that previously had no veterinary college of its own. The Narowal campus gives students from Narowal, Shakargarh, Zafarwal and the Sialkot region access to the DVM degree and allied programs without travelling to Lahore, and it supports local farmers through its clinical and extension services.

The college mirrors the departmental structure of UVAS’s other colleges, with five departments listed on the official page: Pathobiology, Clinical Sciences, Basic Sciences, Animal Sciences and Social Sciences. Being the newest UVAS campus, its infrastructure was still being completed when the principal’s message was written; the message lists an academic block, administration block, hostels, a clinical sciences building and a diagnostic lab among the planned components.
