The New Campus of the UET Lahore profile at Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) lies on the GT Road about 20 km north-east of Lahore in Sheikhupura district, Punjab. The official prospectus records that it was established in 2007 as the university’s city campus to relieve pressure on the main campus.
About the Campus
KSK has grown into UET’s second-largest site, concentrating on computing and core engineering. The prospectus lists computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, data science, cyber security and artificial intelligence here, along with business administration, energy systems and management, food science and mathematics. Its newer buildings and open layout make it the main growth campus of the university.

Admissions at this Campus
All UET campuses share one admission cycle on admission.uet.edu.pk: applicants sit ECAT (engineering) or apply directly (business and most science programmes), rank campus-wise preferences and are placed by the central merit lists. Engineering and computing applicants to KSK need 60% in the relevant intermediate subjects and an ECAT score (merit: ECAT 33%, FSc Part-I 50%, Matric 17%), while BBA and most BS science applicants need 50% and no test. The Fall 2026 fee schedule is the same at every campus: Rs. 54,050 admission fee plus Rs. 56,290 tuition in the first semester for the subsidised category (source: official fee schedule).
