Rachna College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) is the Gujranwala constituent college of the UET Lahore profile, located on the GT Road near Gujranwala in Punjab. It is named after the Rachna Doab region between the Ravi and Chenab rivers.
About the Campus
The official prospectus describes RCET as a constituent college that follows the same curriculum, examination system and policies as the main campus, so its degrees are UET Lahore degrees. Programmes focus on four core disciplines – computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering – which match the engineering goods, auto-parts and electrical appliance industries of Gujranwala. The establishment year is not stated in the prospectus.

Admissions at this Campus
All UET campuses share one admission cycle on admission.uet.edu.pk: applicants sit ECAT (engineering) or apply directly (business and most science programmes), rank campus-wise preferences and are placed by the central merit lists. Fall 2026 applications opened 8 June and closed mid-July 2026. See our UET Lahore entry test (ECAT) page and the admissions archive.
All four RCET programmes are ECAT-based, so applicants need 60% in the relevant FSc subjects and a current-year ECAT score; merit is ECAT 33%, FSc Part-I 50% and Matric 17%. Candidates from Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hafizabad and Gujrat typically rank RCET alongside the main campus and KSK in their preference list. The Rs. 3,000 application fee covers all choices, and the Fall 2026 fee schedule is common to every campus (source: official fee schedule).
Facilities
Facilities are described on the college website; the prospectus confirms hostel charges apply uniformly across campuses. Check rcet.uet.edu.pk for hostel and transport details.
