Explore BSc Electrical Engineering – UET Peshawar at University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, including duration, eligibility and connected admission resources.

BSc Electrical Engineering at UET Peshawar is a four-year PEC-accredited degree and one of the university’s flagship programmes. The 2026-27 prospectus describes the Peshawar programme with majors in Electrical Power Engineering, Communication Engineering and Computing and Artificial Intelligence, and the degree is also taught at the Jalozai and Bannu campuses.

Program Overview

Students begin with circuit analysis, electronics, digital logic, signals and systems and electromagnetics, then branch according to major: power systems, machines, high-voltage and protection for the power stream; communication theory, wireless and networks for the communication stream; or programming, embedded systems and machine learning for the computing and AI stream. A supervised final year project completes the degree.

The programme is ideal for students with strong physics and mathematics who want flexibility between the energy sector, telecom and computing. The majors structure means the choice can be made after the common first years rather than at admission.
