UET Lahore Undergraduate Admissions 2026-27

This record covers undergraduate admissions at the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore profile for the 2026-27 session – the Fall 2026 intake at the main campus and the KSK, Faisalabad, Rachna College and Narowal campuses – including the leftover-seat and walk-in rounds that follow the main merit lists. The whole process runs on admission.uet.edu.pk, with the entry test managed separately at ecat.uet.edu.pk.

• Engineering (ECAT-based): Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Mechatronics and Control, Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials, Polymer, Mining, Petroleum and Gas, Geological, Industrial and Manufacturing, Transportation, Architectural, Environmental, Textile and more
• Computing (ECAT-based): BS Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security
• Architecture, City and Regional Planning, Product and Industrial Design (aptitude test)
• Business (no ECAT): BBA, Business Information Technology, Business Analytics, Logistics and Supply Chain
• Sciences and Humanities: BS Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing and GIS, English

Eligibility Criteria

Engineering and computer science applicants need FSc Pre-Engineering (or ICS/equivalent for computing) with at least 60% marks and must have appeared in the current year’s ECAT with the correct subject combination; DAE holders apply against reserved seats in their trade. Business and most science programmes are exempt from ECAT and admit on academic merit with their own minimum marks. Source: UET UG Prospectus 2026.

How to Apply

1. Register for ECAT on ecat.uet.edu.pk in your subject combination and pay the Rs. 3,000 test fee; sit the computer-based test in your slot.
2. After the ECAT result, create an account on admission.uet.edu.pk and pay the Rs. 3,000 application fee by challan – one fee covers all programme choices.
3. Fill in Matric, FSc Part-I or final and ECAT details, upload documents and rank programme-campus preferences.
4. Use the paid preference-change window if you want to reorder choices before the merit run.
5. Check the merit lists, pay first-semester dues by the deadline and attend document verification; watch for leftover-seat and walk-in notices if you miss out.

Entry Test and Merit

ECAT is conducted by UET Lahore and used by the UET family of universities in Punjab. Merit for ECAT-based programmes is ECAT 33%, FSc Part-I 50% and Matric 17%; O/A Level and DAE candidates are scored as ECAT 33% and academic record 67%. Hafiz-e-Quran candidates may receive up to 20 marks after an oral test and sportspersons up to 10. Source: UET admissions portal. Fee and Scholarships

The Fall 2026 fee schedule applies the same scale to all undergraduate programmes: subsidised-category students pay Rs. 54,050 admission fee and Rs. 56,290 tuition in semester one, rising to Rs. 105,060 in semester eight (about Rs. 713,920 in total), while the partially subsidised category totals around Rs. 1,085,430. Facilities charges are Rs. 7,220 per semester for day scholars and Rs. 3,610 for hostel residents, with a one-time hostel admission fee of Rs. 2,810. Source: Fall 2026 fee schedule PDF.
