The Faisalabad Campus of the UET Lahore profile is located in Faisalabad, the textile capital of Punjab. The official prospectus states it was established in 2006 to serve the industrial districts of central Punjab.
About the Campus
The campus pairs core engineering with programmes tailored to the local economy: the prospectus lists computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics and control engineering, chemical engineering, textile engineering, data science, cyber security and industrial chemistry. Textile and chemical engineering connect directly to Faisalabad’s mills and processing industry, while the computing degrees serve its growing software sector.

Admissions at this Campus
All UET campuses share one admission cycle on admission.uet.edu.pk: applicants sit ECAT (engineering) or apply directly (business and most science programmes), rank campus-wise preferences and are placed by the central merit lists. Closing merit at Faisalabad is usually a little lower than at the Lahore main campus for the same discipline, so students from Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Sargodha often list it as a first or second preference. Eligibility is identical: 60% in the relevant intermediate subjects plus ECAT for engineering and computing degrees, 50% without ECAT for industrial chemistry. The application fee is Rs. 3,000 and the Fall 2026 fee schedule applies uniformly (source: official fee schedule PDF).
