Lahore Garrison University

Lahore Garrison University (LGU) is a private-sector university located in Sector C of DHA Phase 6, Lahore, Punjab. It was set up by the Pakistan Army and chartered by the Government of Punjab in 2012, and it is recognised by the Higher Education Commission. LGU has built its reputation on computing, management and social science degrees, a disciplined campus culture inherited from its military sponsorship, and comparatively transparent per-credit-hour fees.

Admission Process

LGU’s main intake is Fall; the admissions portal header currently reads “Admissions Fall-2026 — Apply Now”. A Spring intake is run for selected programs in some years. Steps:

Register on admissions.lgu.edu.pk and fill in the online application.
Upload academic documents and pay the processing fee through the generated voucher (amount not published online — check the official website).
Appear for the LGU entry test and interview on the scheduled date.
Check the merit list on the portal (a “Merit Lists – Fall 2026” page is maintained there).
Pay the admission and first-semester fee to confirm the seat.

Entry Test and Merit

Admission to BS programs is based on the university’s own entry test and interview together with intermediate marks; the portal links a “Test Guidelines” page for candidates. No merit weightage is published. See the LGU entry test guide for what is known about the pattern.

Fee Structure

LGU publishes a per-credit-hour fee schedule for FY 2026-27. Admission fee is PKR 17,500 for every BS program. Selected figures:
